Overview
Entrance exam for GIK Institute's BS Engineering and Computer Science programs. It is a 2-hour test with multiple-choice questions in Physics, Mathematics, and English. Typically there are ~80 questions (e.g. 30 Math, 30 Physics, 20 English) totaling 200 marks. Previously, negative marking was applied in Math/Physics (−1 for wrong on 3-mark questions), but GIKI has removed negative marking since last year. The test is conducted at designated centers simultaneously in major cities. Admissions are decided on test score (85% weight) plus academic performance.
